The Government published the
Health and Care Bill, June 2021 setting the motion a major restructuring of the NHS, aiming to implement the reforms of the NHS Long-Term Plan and build on the Integration and Innovation White Paper released earlier this year.
The Bill’s primary purpose is to legislate for Integrated Care Systems and pave the way for a more integrated and collaborative approach to planning and commissioning care.
