Cynthia quote 1
quote

"I had no idea what to expect, but a friendly welcome awaited me. Members can chat together, share experiences and encourage each other. For some it is their one outing of the week. My legs are not in need of treatment at the moment, but I still visit the Club for a cup of tea and a chat with new friends."

The Foundation has been created to relieve suffering from leg ulcers and associated conditions through the implementation of an award winning model that motivates and empowers patients to take ownership of their care, alleviate their suffering and reduce the stigma attached to their condition. It also seeks to further advance education in all aspects of leg health among sufferers, carers, the general public and the healthcare professions.

Join your colleagues at the 17th Annual Leg Club conference for the latest research, techniques and technology in the treatment of wound management. You will meet people who question old thoughts and are courageous to try new things. The charity’s annual conference is a highly regarded event in the wound care calendar.

It brings nurses, volunteers and clinical nurse specialists together to share best practice and to learn about the latest techniques and clinical innovations in the management of the lower limb.
