Roland ran Opencity Limited, a healthcare communications consultancy, between 2000 and 2016.

Since then he has continued to provide freelance project management and consultancy services for clients within the healthcare and telecoms industries. He also travels extensively and enjoys creating writing. He currently divides his time between Europe and Australia.

Roland has been involved with the Leg Club Foundation since 2010, first as Trustee, then as Vice Chair and finally as its Chair between 2014 and 2017. He remains committed to the Leg Club model and is very happy to support it wherever and however he can.
