Nailsea Leg Club Enjoys a Garden Party

The Lord Lieutenant of Somerset very kindly hosted a lovely garden party in order to thank volunteers for all they do for their individual charities. Nailsea Leg Club were invited to send 2 representatives to show appreciation for all that the volunteers do week on week. It was a lovely event, held at Marston House in Frome, with wonderful views across the valley. A lovely afternoon tea, with delicious sandwiches, mini tarts and calorie laden cake, was provided, followed by speeches and presentations of the Kings Award. Some useful networking was also done by Carole Brooke and Judith Brown. Altogether, a very enjoyable event - we just wish all our volunteers could have enjoyed it!
